Mucast Terms of Use
These terms apply when you download and use Mucast, and when you buy Mucast Pro. Please read them together with the refund and withdrawal policy and the privacy policy.
Who we are
Mucast is made and operated by Freede Consultancy, a business registered in the Netherlands. Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number: 88685926. VAT identification number: NL004632468B13. Address: 3772 PD Barneveld, Gelderland, the Netherlands. Contact: info@ioscorner.com.
Using Mucast
- We give you a personal, non-transferable right to install and use Mucast on Macs you own or control, for personal and commercial streams.
- You may not resell, sublicense or redistribute the app, or remove or work around its licence checks, except where the law allows it.
- Mucast is free to download. The free tier has no time limit: two platforms at once, up to 1080p at 30 fps and three scenes. On every plan, Mucast streams one orientation at a time: landscape (16:9) or portrait (9:16), chosen before you go live.
Mucast Pro
- Pro unlocks every platform at once, 60 fps, resolutions above 1080p and unlimited scenes. It is bought and managed inside the app with a Mucast account, run by Freede Consultancy on
account.getmucast.com. - Plans: monthly, yearly (with a 7-day free trial) and lifetime (one payment). The price, including VAT where applicable, is shown before you pay.
- Payments go through Stripe. Stripe’s company Link is the seller of record: it charges you, issues the receipt and invoice and handles VAT. Your bank statement shows a charge from Link.
- Free trial. One free trial per person and payment method. If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, the yearly plan starts and is charged. When the trial starts, you get an email with the date of the first charge.
- Renewal. Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Lifetime Pro does not renew.
- Cancelling. You can cancel any time in Mucast, online and without giving a reason. Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
- In the Netherlands, once a yearly plan has renewed after its first year, you can end it at any time with one month’s notice, and we refund the unused part.
- Price changes apply from your next renewal, and we tell you by email beforehand so you can cancel.
- Pro works on up to five Macs per account.
Withdrawal and refunds
If you are a consumer in the EU, you can withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. How that works, and what we refund, is in the refund and withdrawal policy. To withdraw, use Withdraw from contract here.
Your streams
- You are responsible for what you stream and record, for having the rights to it, and for following the rules of each platform you stream to, including their rules on streaming to several platforms at once.
- Platforms decide who can stream to them and may change their servers, limits or eligibility at any time. Mucast uses the stream keys and accounts you provide and cannot guarantee that a platform accepts your stream.
- Mucast is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube, Twitch, Kick, TikTok, Instagram or Facebook. Their names belong to their owners.
Updates
We update Mucast to fix problems, keep it working with the platforms and add features. The app checks for updates and installs them when you agree. A feature may change or be removed when a platform or macOS no longer supports it.
Liability
We build Mucast with care, but a live stream depends on your Mac, your network and the platforms. As far as the law allows, Freede Consultancy is not liable for indirect damage, such as lost income from a stream that did not reach a platform, and our liability is limited to what you paid for Pro in the twelve months before the damage. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights when the app is faulty.
Law and disputes
Dutch law applies to these terms. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and you may go to the courts there. Please write to info@ioscorner.com first; most problems are solved quickly that way.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms, for example when the law or the app changes. We update the date at the top and tell account holders about important changes by email before they apply.
